The 34th Manila International Book Fair – 15Sep’13

“I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.”
― Groucho Marx

Though it was raining so hard that day, me and my brother still pushed through in going to the SMX Convention Center in Mall Of Asia, to visit the book fair on it’s last day. We also joined last year book fair and it was really fun, that’s why we’ve been talking about going to this year book fair as well.

It took us two hours to arrived at SMX from our house in Novaliches, thanks to MRT for making our lives easier 🙂 We arrived in MOA around 2pm and the convention center was already full. We paid 20 pesos/each for the ticket to go in.  All in all, the experience was ok. But we plan to go to next year book fair on its first day, since going on the last day was really a headache! hahaha.

Here’s some of the pictures i took for this years MIBF 🙂

The author of the first novel i’ve ever read “The Best Laid Plan”, which definitely introduced me to the beauty of reading ♥
— currently patiently waiting for the 4th book ;p

The beautiful author of the “Beautiful Creature” series… Ms. Margaret Stohl
Mr. Lord De Veyra ~~> a Filipino author, musician, emcee, poet, journalist, broadcast personality and activist.

Tupac. I was actually looking for Eminem’s book “The Way I Am”, but still didn’t see one 😦

hmmm… 🙂
currently reading. highly recommended!

Take home from MIBF 2013 ♥
18 unread stories due to im currently hooked in reading ebooks from my tablet 🙂

Can’t wait for next year MIBF!!!

  1. How much did it cost you? 🙂 Been reading books for years now but it’s only on Thursday that I will be able to set my feet on the prestigious book fair. Funny, I know! 🙂

    1. Hi roicetayag!

Hmmm… I usually spent 1k just for books. Hehehe. But MIBF really offered great discounts so that really depends on you 🙂

This year will be our 3rd year joining the mibf. I always go there with my youngest brother since he loves books too.

      See you there! 😉

let me see what you think... ^_6
